The indoor hall of VRA
Anyone who has played cricket in a gym or sports hall knows that a real cricket training facility is superior for working on your cricket skills. In the VRA hall you can train with a hard ball, do fielding training and improve your batting skills with a bowling machine.
VRA Cricket Amsterdam has built a completely new training hall in 2020 and is making it available to anyone who wants to be able to train indoors. Both in winter and summer you can train undisturbed, heated and dry in a special cricket hall. The lighting is at the highest level with 1800 lumens, so that bowling and batting can be safely done under all circumstances. The Dutch Lions and Lionesses, Rood&Wit, Qui Vive, ACC, Amsterdam Cricket Academy, VVV and all senior and junior VRA teams are already training in the hall.
More and more groups in the region are discovering the VRA cricket hall as the ideal place to spend the winter months and work on the development. The accessibility is perfect from the city, both by bicycle, by public transport and even by car (free parking!).
Prices as of 1-10-2022
- 1 Pitch: 45 Euro per hour
- 2 Pitches: 85 Euro per hour
- 3 Piteches: 110 Euro per hour
- Bowling machine: 15 Euro per hour. (NOTE: This option is not available at the moment)
- Senior trainer: 50 Euro per hour
- Junior trainer: 35 Euros per hour
Discounts are available for booking more than 10 weekly repeated sessions.

How can I reserve a pitch for training?
Anyone can reserve the VRA indoor hall for training. We apply [a number of house rules] (http://www.vra.nl/en/houserules) to keep the hall clean and safe for everyone.
To make it easy, below we show the slots that are available. This is an up-to-date overview that shows for which time slots reservations have already been made in the coming period.
We ask everyone who is interested in training in the hall to make their wishes known. We have made a form for that. Go to the web form and make your wishes known for a day and a time. You will receive a response as soon as possible with a confirmation or a proposal for another moment. Reservations can only be made 24 hours before the start of your first reservation slot.
