Darrin was coach at VRA from 1993 to 1996, and played a crucial role in laying the foundations of the team’s recent success. He played 8 Tests and one ODI for New Zealand in 1994-95, and made a total of 2907 first-class runs during his career with Canterbury. He has since moved back and forth between The Netherlands and New Zealand, but since 2004 has been settled in Amstelveen and played regularly for VRA. He has a total of 5501 Hoofdklasse runs at an average of 54.47, including twelve centuries. Returns to the captaincy this season. Shirt number 1 |
