Coronamaatregelen versoepeld - Jeugdtrainingen beginnen vanaf 29 april

22 april 2020 - English translation below

  5. Neem je eigen eten en drinken mee.
  6. Was je handen vaak en grondig (minstens 20 seconden).

ENGLISH VERSION

To all youth players and their parents (or guardians):

As you may know, today, April 21st, the government has relaxed some lockdown rules:

  • From April 29, children and adolescents up to 18 years of age will have more space for organized outdoor sports and games (no official competitions).
  • Children up to 12 years old can exercise together outside, ONLY under supervision by an adult.
  • Adolescents from 13 to 18 years of age are allowed to exercise outside with each other under supervision, but with a distance of at least 1.5 meters between them at all times.
  • Municipalities make agreements about this with sports clubs and neighborhood sports coaches; this may cause differences between municipalities.
  • Top athletes can resume training at designated training locations if they observe a distance of 1.5 meters.

So basically, we can start our training sessions from April 29 onwards, on the condition that we all follow the guidelines -as described below -strictly. The training schedules are already shared with the team managers. The training sessions will be conducted under the leadership of Peter Borren at Ground 2

Corona guidelines for VRA youth players and their parents

  1. If you or your child are ill, stay at home.
  2. If you have been in a risk zone recently, stay at home.
  3. If you are older than 12 years of age, keep your distance of 1,5 meter from each other at all times.
  4. Speak up when people around you forget the 1,5m rule.
  5. Bring your own food and drinks.
  6. Wash your hands regularly and thoroughly (minimum 20 seconds).
  7. Parents will not be allowed behind the fences on the ground/ nets during and after training sessions. Parents must drop-off their children outside the gates of Ground 2.
  8. The clubhouse will remain closed so kids need to bring their own food and drinks.
  9. The clubhouse, its bathroom facilities, the dressing rooms and Ground 1 will be off-limits. As the building of the indoor hall and the renovation of the clubhouse is still going on, it is a dangerous area that is off-limits.
  10. Bring your own cricket gear. Parents need to discuss with the team manager to use the team kit. Strict hygiene should be applied.
  11. For u15/ u17 training at the ACC ground, the same rules apply to everybody.
  12. Team managers will play a leading role in this situation. All players and parents must keep in touch with the team manager for all kinds of communication.
  13. The youth coordinator will be discussing on a regular basis with team managers and the VRA Board.
  14. These guidelines will be valid from April 29th 2020, until further notice.
