Renovatie toegangsweg VRA / Access road VRA
Update 18-12-'20
Per vandaag zijn de werkzaamheden aan het fietspad naar het clubhuis zover afgerond dat de gebruikelijke toegangsweg weer open is. Vanaf nu is VRA weer bereikbaar vanaf de grote parkeerplaats en is het hek aan de voorzijde weer de hoofdingang. Het bouwhek aan de achterzijde blijft in principe gesloten voor bezoekers.
As of today, the work on the cycle path to the clubhouse has been largely completed and the usual access road is open again. From now on, VRA is again accessible from the large parking lot and the gate at the front is the main entrance again. The rear entrance will basically remain closed to visitors.

Vrijwel gelijk met de openstelling van onze prachtige nieuwe crickethal is de Gemeente gestart met de lang aangekondigde renovatie van de fietspaden in het sportpark. Daar zijn we weliswaar erg blij mee, maar voorlopig is het behelpen met de toegankelijkheid van de hal en het (vooralsnog gesloten) clubhuis.
Tot midden december zijn fiets- en voetpad vanaf het grote parkeerterrein, langs onze hoofdingang en Pinoké tot aan het parkeerterrein bij de Jan Tooroplaan gesloten voor verkeer. De oude bestrating is verwijderd, verlichting wordt vernieuwd en fiets- en voetpad worden opnieuw verbreed aangelegd.
Tot die tijd is VRA alleen te bereiken via het fietspad achter AH&BC en tennisclub TCA langs. Aangezien ook onze achteringang nog wordt verplaatst en vanwege de bouw slecht begaanbaar is, zal VRA voorlopig het best toegankelijk zijn via het hek bij de tennisclub, dat om die reden open zal blijven. Vandaar kan men over het gras naar de ingang van de kleedkamers, waar zich voorlopig ook de toegang tot de hal bevindt.
Fietsen en scooters kunnen voorlopig worden gestald op het tegelplateau naast de opslagcontainers.
Zodra de werkzaamheden zijn afgerond kan onze hoofdingang weer worden gebruikt. Begin 20121 volgt dan nog de renovatie van het fietspad langs de tennisclub, maar daar zullen we minder last van hebben.
Access road VRA temporarily closed
Unfortunately, until mid-December, the bicycle and pedestrian path from the large parking lot, past our main entrance and hockey club Pinoké to the parking lot at Jan Tooroplaan will be closed to all traffic due to renovation works.
Until then, VRA can only be reached via the cycle path behind hockey club AH&BC and tennis club TCA. Since our back entrance is also being relocated and because of the ongoing construction works it is difficult to pass through, VRA will for the time being best accessible via the gate at the tennis club, which will therefore remain open. From there one can cross the grass to the entrance of the dressing rooms, where the entrance to the hall is located for the time being.
Bicycles and scooters can be temporarily parked on the tiled platform next to the storage containers.
As soon as the work has been completed, our main entrance can be used again.
