NL-VAE: vrijwilligers gezocht / volunteers needed!

Na de wedstrijden van het Nederlands heren XI tegen Zimbabwe, staat de serie tegen de Verenigde Arabische Emiraten (VAE) voor de deur. In januari 2016 troffen beide teams elkaar in zowel de Intercontinental Cup als het World Cricket League Championship (WCL, 2 wedstrijden). Oranje versloeg de VAE in beide formats.

In deze aankomende serie staan er drie wedstrijden op het programma, waaronder een wedstrijd die op VRA zal worden gespeeld op maandag 17 juli. Voor deze wedstrijd zijn er minimaal 12 vrijwilligers nodig om de ground crew te bemannen. Alle hulp is welkom om deze wedstrijden in goede banen te leiden. Het is de hele dag vanaf 8:00 uur tot 1 uur na het einde van de wedstrijd en vrijwilligers ontvangen per dag een onkostenvergoeding. Vrijwilligers kunnen zich aanmelden bij Peter van Gulik via penningmeester@vra.nl.

After the fixtures of the Dutch XI against Zimbabwe the next series of matches is at hand, this time against the United Arab Emirates (UAE). In January 2016 both teams clashed in the Intercontinental Cup and the World Cricket League Championship (WCL, 2 matches). Back then the men in orange managed to beat the UAE in both formats.

There will be three fixtures in the upcoming series against the UAE, one of which will take place at VRA on Monday 17th July. For this match a minimum of 12 volunteers is needed as ground crew and all help is welcome to assure that this game run smoothly. If you'd like to volunteer, we'll need your help from 8am until an hour after the match has finished and as a volunteer you will receive a compensation for expenses.
